Kohli and Naveen's on-field spat continues to draw attention on social media.
The duo engaged in a war of words during the LSG-RCB clash at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on May 1. The on-field aggression spilled over to the post-match handshakes as they had another verbal spat.
More than six months have passed since that incident, but it continues to draw attention on social media. Recently, Pakistan cricketer Imam-ul-Haq made an interesting revelation regarding the same.
Speaking on Honest Hour Podcast, Imam revealed that his teammate Agha Salman had dropped a personal text to Kohli on Instagram, asking him to calm down following that incident.
“Kohli bhai, easy ho jao. Kya ho gaya hai? [Kohli brother, take it easy. What happened?],” Imam can be heard saying in a video, which is doing the rounds on social media.
Imam also informed that Shadab Khan told Kohli about Salman’s message, to which the Indian legend quipped that he would make it viral by replying.
It is worth mentioning here that Kohli and Naveen buried the hatchet between them in the recently held ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
During the India versus Afghanistan match in Delhi on October 11, the two players shared a handshake and hug out there in the middle, much to the delight of the fans.
