Rishabh Pant had previously started keeping and light batting in nets.
Pant was involved in a near-fatal accident last year and as per the BCCI, he had suffered cuts to his forehead, and tore a ligament on his right knee, besides injuring his right wrist, ankle, and toe. He also had abrasion injuries on his back.
Rishabh Pant has been putting updates on social media about his recovery process which has been wonderful for his fans. He had started taking throwdowns last month.
However, as per the Revsportz report, the speed of the deliveries that Pant has been facing has steadily increased since then. He is now facing deliveries at nets with speeds excess to 140 kmph at the NCA.

The report further stated that Pant is facing no issues whatsoever in taking down quicker deliveries and is comfortable with small movements. He has also started to keep wickets with lesser intensity. But he still has some time to get used to larger and quicker body movements.
“Rishabh has been making a fine recovery. He has started to take on deliveries with a speed excess of 140 kmph. We all are delighted with the way he has been crossing every hurdle in his recovery. He is keeping well. His next target will be to focus on larger and quicker body movements, which we aim to achieve in the next couple of months,” a source at the NCA told RevSportz.
The medical staff and trainers are confident that he would achieve the same in the next couple of months and they have been surprised with his quick recovery.
