In a major blow to England's THundred 2023 before it gets underway, premier spinner Rashid Khan on Tuesday pulled out of the tournament, citing unspecified injury as the reason.

Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna has also finally regained fitness after remaining out of the action for a long time. The right-arm pacer even missed the Indian T20 League 2023. He has been named in India's squad for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland after regaining match fitness.

Rashid Khan was expected to play the first three matches for Trent in THundred 2023 before New Zealand leggie Ish Sodhi would replace him in the squad. Now in Rashid's absence, Pakistan's Imad Wasim will play the main overseas spinner's role in the team for the first three games.

"I'm really disappointed to have to withdraw from THundred through injury," Rashid said in a statement. "It's been great to play in the competition the first two years, Trent is a great team, and I hope to be back again next year."

Meanwhile, Prasidh Krishna alongside India's numero uno pacer Jasprit Bumrah have both been adjudged fit and would be eager to make a mark in their comeback series against Ireland, which will be held from August 18 to 23 in Dublin.

How would this affect Rario Marketplace?

A lot of users would have locked Rashid Khan for THundred but his exit came as a surprise, so people might be wanting to let him go. However, considering the value he brings to the table, not many would leave him out. Khan plays almost every franchise league and is a regular for Afghanistan in internationals.

If you don't own Rashid's cards, it is a good time to grab them since the prices might have dropped due to his sudden exit from the THundred 2023.

Prasidh Krishna last played an international match in August 2022. He was out for a year. He is likely to be a regular part of India's white-ball assignments going forward, so his cards are going to get expensive as soon as they drop on Rario.
