BCCI unveils Team India’s international fixtures for home season 2023-24

The senior Indian men's team is scheduled to play a total of 16 International matches.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday (July 25) unveiled the fixtures for the home season 2023-24.

The upcoming season will be a treat for Indian cricket fans as the senior men's team is scheduled to play a total of 16 International matches, comprising five Tests, three ODIs, and eight T20Is.

BCCI’s Tours, Fixtures and Technical Committee featuring Mr Amitabh Vijayvargiya, Mr Jayendra Sahgal and Mr Hari Narayan Pujari confirmed the venues allocated as per the BCCI venue rotation policy.

The home season will get underway with India hosting Australia for a three-match ODI series ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Mohali, Indore, and Rajkot will stage the 50-over games on September 22, September 24 and September 27 respectively.

The Men in Blue will then play a five-match T20I series against Australia, beginning on November 23 in Vizag and concluding on December 3 in Hyderabad.

The start of the new year will see Afghanistan visiting India for their maiden white-ball bilateral tour. The three-match T20I series will be held in Mohali, Indore and Bengaluru on January 11, January 14 and January 17 respectively.

Test cricket will then take over as India will host England for a five-match Test series, starting on 25th January 2024. The Test series will be played at Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala.
