Having made a stunning comeback to international cricket after recovering from a knee injury, India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is feeling confident and positive about his game.

In August 2022, Jadeja had to leave the Asia Cup midway to undergo surgery on his right knee. Subsequently, he underwent extended rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

After a lengthy hiatus, Jadeja made a memorable return to the Indian team last month during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which the hosts won 2-1 against Australia. He played a key role in the team’s victory, finishing the four-match Test series with 22 wickets and 135 runs to his name.

Jadeja carried on his good form in the ongoing ODI series against Australia as well. The southpaw played a crucial knock of 45 not out and took a couple of scalps in the opening game in Mumbai.

"I am feeling good, confident and I will look to continue to do well for longer period of time. I have been working hard in NCA on my skills, I knew at some stage it would pay off and happy with my performance, don't like to take anything for granted," Jadeja said while speaking to Star Sports ahead of the third ODI at Chepauk.

The all-rounder further said India's 10-wicket thrashing in the second ODI in Visakhapatnam has not affected the dressing room morale.

Riding on Mitchell Starc’s five-wicket haul, Australia bowled out the home team for a paltry 117 in the second ODI and then chased down the target with 39 overs to spare.

"Nothing, nothing, as such because everybody is happy. The environment is positive. We are looking forward to this game. No negativity and nothing. Hopefully, we will come good. Everybody knows their roles and we will do well," he added.

After the culmination of the ODI series, Jadeja will be seen in action in the Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings, who will begin their campaign in the tournament opener against Gujarat Titans on March 31.
