Isle of Man beat Turkey's record for lowest total of 21 runs.
The Isle of Man side recorded the lowest total in Men’s T20Is, as they were bowled out by Spain for just 10 runs. In the chase, Spain only took 2 balls to romp home by 10 wickets with a jaw-dropping 118 balls to spare.
Isle of Man fell below Sydney Thunder, who had slumped to 15 all out in 5.5 overs against Adelaide Strikers in the BBL earlier this year. Turkey had previously held the lowest score in T20s when they were bundled out for 21 against the Czech Republic in 2019.
Joseph Burrows top-scored for them, scoring four runs off seven balls. Atif Mehmood was the pick of the Spanish bowlers after he finished with figures of 4-2-6-4. Mohammad Kamran and Lorne Burns picked up three and two wickets respectively.

The Isle of Man’s previous lowest score of 66 came against Spain on February 25. They have won 8 out of 16 T20Is they have played thus far. Isle of Man lost their six-match T20I series against Spain 0-5.
“Crazy, just crazy. Kamran and Mehmood were getting good swing and they just kept hitting pads and stumps. It just went four for four, five for five, six for six, I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Thank you to the Isle of Man guys for coming out, they brought a young team and gave us some tough games. I hope they’re not too demoralized but I’m sure they’ll only learn from it,” Spain coach Corey Rutgers told Cricbuzz.
The Isle of Man became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2017 and competed in World Cup qualifiers in 2016 and 2018.
