KL Rahul recently married his long-time actor girlfriend Athiya Shetty.
The lovebirds got hitched in what was a private affair at Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse, only attended by their family members and close friends.
Two days after their wedding, it has been reported that Rahul and Athiya have been showered with extravagant gifts from the cricket and film industry.
According to a report published on India TV, star batter Virat Kohli has gifted the newlyweds a BMW luxury car worth Rs 2.17 crore while former skipper MS Dhoni has gifted the couple a Kawasaki Ninja bike worth Rs 80 lakh.
The report also claims that Rahul and Athiya have been gifted a house worth Rs 50 crore from Suniel Shetty.
Talking about KL Rahul, he was given a break by the BCCI for his wedding and missed the just-concluded ODI series against New Zealand. He also won’t feature in the T20I series against the Kiwis, starting on Friday (January 27) in Ranchi.
Rahul was last seen in action in the ODI series versus Sri Lanka earlier this month, registering scores of 39, 64* and 7 while batting in the middle-order. He will return to action for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, starting February 9 in Nagpur.
