Pant will be now treated by noted sports orthopedic surgeon Dinshaw Pardiwala in Mumbai.
His car caught fire after tumbling and sliding for quite a distance on December 30, and he was saved by a few good Samaritans before getting first aid at Saksham hospital in Roorkee. Then he was taken to Max hospital in Dehradun where he underwent further treatment and was stabilized.
His MRI scans were taken and it was found that he received no brain or head trauma, but had suffered cuts and bruises to his face, forehead, back, and more serious injuries to his hand, right knee ligament and ankle, and foot.
Pant, 25, also underwent plastic surgery for the abrasions on his back and cuts on his forehead.
