The second Test between Australia and South Africa will begin in MCG on Dec 26.
The Test match ended in two days with Australia triumphing by 6 wickets and going 1-0 up in the series and cementing their place at the top of the ICC World Test Championship points table.
With the next Test beginning in Melbourne on Boxing Day, David Warner decided to prank everyone by posting pictures of himself and his children on a plane with the caption: “My current situation. Bali here we come”.
Another team official was quick to express doubt about the trip but said he would find out.
However, Warner quickly put the issue to rest by revealing that he was spending time with his family at Coogee beach which is near his home in Sydney.
“For those who are concerned I’m currently walking Coogee beach … and will be heading to the grocery store after. Until then stay tuned,” he wrote on social media.
On the other hand, selectors have backed him to be part of Australia’s important tour of India where they will play three ODIs and four Tests.
