Thakur and other standby players from Indian team will fly to Australia for T20 World Cup 2022.
He is part of the contingent that will be flying to Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022 after the completion of the South Africa ODI series.
Shardul said it was not the first time his kit bags failed to arrive on time as he sought help from officials at the Mumbai airport to sort out the issue.
"Can you send someone to help me at the luggage belt ? Not the first time that my kit bags haven’t arrived and no staff present at the location either !! (sic)," Shardul said, seeking help from the airlines.
He also mentioned the terminal at which he arrived.
However, instead of the airline staff, he received a reply from one of the most unusual people who could help in this situation. Former India off-spinner and World Cup winner Harbhajan Singh came up with a funny response to the all-rounder's tweet.
He posted: "My dear we will make sure you get your bag and our staff will be there to assist you.. sorry for the inconvenience.. (Ex Airindian Bhajji) we love you.”
Shardul Thakur responded to Harbhajan's message, saying he got the issue sorted at the Mumbai airport.
