Australia has already pocketed Chappell-Hadlee Trophy against New Zealand having won first 2 ODIs.
Australian batters Marcus Stoinis and David Warner will not be available for selection for the third and final ODI of the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy against New Zealand, which will be played on Sunday (September 11) in Cairns.
Stoinis has been ruled out of the final ODI against New Zealand with an injury, while Warner has been rested for the match ahead of the upcoming 3-match T20I tour of India.
Stoinis left the field with a side strain complaint in the 23rd over of New Zealand’s innings during Australia's series-clinching 113-run win in the second ODI on Thursday (September 8). He will return to Perth to try and recover in time for the T20I tour of India, with the squad departing next week.

On the other hand, Warner was released from the Australia squad to spend some time with his family ahead of including three T20I series in India and before the T20 World Cup 2022.
Cricket Australia (CA) said in a statement: “Stoinis will undergo rehabilitation in Perth leading into Australia’s three-match T20I tour of India from September 21-26. There is no injury concern for Warner who has left the squad to spend more time at home before a hectic 12 months of cricket.”
Notably, Australia’s limited-overs captain Aaron Finch announced his retirement from ODI cricket on Saturday and will lead the side for the last time on Sunday.
