In his illustrious career spanning 24 years, the prolific Indian batter scored 34,357 across formats to go with 100 centuries. He accomplished almost every record to his name, some of which are still unbroken. He was mostly known for his glorious straight drive and it’s fair to say that no one has played that shot better than him.
On Tuesday (29th August), India celebrated National Sports Day and many cricketers, former players and fans graced the occasion by posting pictures and videos, playing different games.

Batting great Tendulkar also shared a video that took the internet by storm. The former Indian skipper was seen playing a wide range of shots, including the cover and straight drives and pull shots during an indoor net session.
His straight drive caught the attention of many as fans felt nostalgic and said that the batting great still has the same signature stroke as he used to play in his playing days.
