Pujara has so far slammed three centuries in eight innings in the ongoing Royal London One-Day Cup.
After smashing centuries against Warwickshire and Surrey, Pujara has how decimated the Middlesex bowling attack at the County Ground in Hove. The right-hander came to bat No. 4 and notched up his ton in just 75 balls.
After reaching the century, Pujara continued his carnage and went on to score 132 runs off 90 balls (20 fours and 2 sixes) before getting out to Max Harris in the 45th over.
During the course of his innings, Pujara was involved in a 240-run stand with opener Tom Alsop, who top-scored for Sussex with 189 runs from 155 balls with 19 fours and 5 sixes.
Thanks to their dazzling hundreds, Sussex piled up a mammoth 400/4 in their stipulated 50 overs.
As of now, Cheteshwar Pujara is the second-highest run-scorer in the Royal London One-Day Cup 2022, having amassed 614 runs from eight matches at an average of 102.33 and a strike rate of 116.28 with three centuries and two fifties to his name.
