Hardik has performed in almost every series he has played since his comeback.
Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal lauded Hardik Pandya for his versatility with both bat and ball and said that all-rounder has provided the team with great strength.
Ever since Pandya made his comeback to cricket after a prolonged injury, he has looked a class apart with both bat and ball. He made comeback during the IPL 2022, where he led Gujarat Titans to the title victory and was the top performer of his side.
His heroics earned him his place back in the Indian side and since then he has been the most valuable player for the team in white-ball cricket. He has provided India with crucial finishes as a batter and also has chipped in with the ball at important stages of the match.

His impressive comeback was lauded by many and he even got the opportunity to lead the side during the Ireland series, where India completed a 2-0 whitewash under him.
Hardik is making his presence felt in every series he’s playing. During the recently held England and West Indies tour, he delivered in almost every match and also became the first Indian Men's cricketer to take 50 wickets and score 500 runs in the shortest format of the game.
Although Pandya has been rested for the Zimbabwe series he surely has provided the Indian team with a different dimension.
Speaking to Sports Yaari, Yuzvendra Chahal lavished rich praise on Pandya and said that the all-rounder’s presence in the side has given Team India great strength.
"Hardik has changed completely, we saw him batting at No.7 earlier. I think when he went to Gujarat Titans from Mumbai Indians, he realised he can bat higher up the order. Any batter who can hit right from the crease, it is difficult to bowl to him. He is batting like a proper batter, which has given us more strength," Yuzvendra Chahal said.

Chahal also praised Pandya for his bowling and said that his bouncer is deceptive and it shows the amount of hard work he has done.
“He is bowling his four overs also, with him coming back, it has really helped our side. He bowls a quick bouncer, if you see it from square off, his bouncer is really deceptive. It shows how much he worked hard when he was out due to injury," he said.
Pandya will come back in the Indian team for the Asia Cup 2022. He’s expected to play a big role for his side in the tournament along with the T20 World Cup 2022.
