Livingstone slammed 52 to help his side win the match against Trent Rockets.
Just like the last season, Liam Livingston is setting the stage on fire in the ongoing edition of The Hundred. A few days after he took Rashid Khan to the cleaners, he gave his fans another spectacular moment to cherish
Playing for Birmingham Phoenix, Livingston played a staggering knock of 52 runs and helped his side win the match against Trent Rockets by seven wickets.
One of the main highlights of his innings was his one-handed six that finished the game for his side and also helped him to reach half-century.
It was the 86th ball of the second innings when Lewis Gregory bowled a full toss to Livingstone, who swung it away over square leg with one hand to wrap the game for his side.
Here’s the video:
Coming to the match, after Birmingham opted to bowl they displayed a great bowling performance and left Rockets tumbling at 53/6 in 54 balls. But Gregory (35*) and Daniel Sams (55*) came to the rescue and helped their side post a fighting total of 145 runs on the board.
In reply, it was Birmingham’s skipper Moeen Ali who anchored the innings and scored 52 off 28 balls before Livingstone finished the game for his side.
