Dhoni holds the world record for most number of stumpings in international cricket.
Apart from his keeping, Dhoni’s street-smartness and sharp advice for the bowlers always proved to be a nightmare for opposition batters. He was also impressive with his inputs on DRS calls.

Recently, CSK batter Robin Uthappa opened up on Dhoni’s sharp cricketing brain and his wit, saying it is quicker than his glovework.
"We all think that his stumping speed is quick but the speed of his wit is even much quicker. He makes others laugh and he is a person who makes other feel comfortable. I have seen this quality in very less people who are at that stature. Shah Rukh Khan is somebody with similar nature," Uthappa said while engaging with his fans in ShareChat’s Audio Chatroom session - 'CricChat Powered by Parimatch’.
"MS Dhoni is a very trustable person which people have taken undue advantage of. Once we were discussing something and he told me, "Chor hamesha chori karke he jaayega." We do not think of such things generally but he keeps it very very simple. I gave this example because he keeps things simple, doesn't complicate them and he is also extremely funny as a person," he added.
MS Dhoni’s achievement as a cricketer is surreal, to say the least. He represented India in 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20Is, aggregating over 17,000 runs and affecting more than 800 dismissals with the gloves in his international career.
In particular, Dhoni etched his name in the history books as one of India’s finest leaders. He is the only skipper in the history of cricket to have won all three ICC trophies – 2007 World T20, 2011 Cricket World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy. He also led India to the pinnacle in Test cricket.
