CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan spoke to NDTV about the decision to foray into foreign leagues and also talked about whether CSK will also enter other T20 leagues as well.
"We are looking for opportunities to play in other leagues and this is the main reason that we decided to invest in the Johannesburg franchise. It depends. It depends on the business plan, we cannot confirm right now whether we will go or not,” Viswanathan told NDTV.
The South Africa T20 League is scheduled to begin in January 2023 and CSA even pulled out of a scheduled ODI series against Australia to ensure all of its biggest players were available for the tournament.
