Brett Lee said on his YouTube channel: “One special moment that will stay with me forever was when India was playing a Test match in India. Further recalling that day, the commentator said: “I said 'my son Preston thinks you are the best thing in slice, already loves you and you're his favorite player'. He was like, really?”
Lee signed off by saying, “I said, yeah he loves your cover drive. After the Test match finished, I was presented with a Test shirt: VK captain and Kohli had signed an address to Preston. To this day, the shirt hangs up in his room.”
Notably, Kohli is currently on the England tour, where the struggling batter missed the first ODI due to a niggle, but he is likely to return for the second ODI to be played on July 14.
