Saha last played a Test match for India in December 2021. In IPL 2022, he scored 317 runs across 11 games at an impressive 31.7 apiece and a strike rate of 122.39. He believes that if the selectors had been interested in him, he would have been picked for India's upcoming tour to England based on his performance in IPL 2022.
"I don't think I would be selected in the national team anymore as the coach and chief selector had already said this to me. In case they were interested in selecting me, I might have been in the England tour after my performance in IPL 2022. This means that they have already made up their mind about me," the wicketkeeper batter told Sports Tak.
"What matters to me is to play cricket and as long as I feel good, I will keep playing," he added.
In the IPL 2022, the veteran cricketer played a pivotal role in helping his Gujarat Titans (GT) win the championship by playing blazing knocks at the top and being quick behind the stumps.
