Ganguly’s cryptic tweet made way for the rumours that he's resigning from the post of BCCI president.
Former Indian cricketer WV Raman on Wednesday (1st June) posted a hilarious tweet on rumours related to Sourav Ganguly’s resignation as the president of the BCCI.
Ganguly left many guessing with a cryptic post on his social media accounts where he said that he’s planning to start something and he also thanked the fans and all stakeholders in his long cricketing journey. His post paved way for the rumours including his stepping down as the president of the governing body.
Although BCCI secretary Jay Shah and Ganguly himself confirmed that the rumours are not true, many speculations went viral on the internet.

Taking a dig at rumours, Raman posted a tweet on his official account, hilariously saying that Ganguly decided to resign on the fact that ‘speculation is one of the constants in life’
"I have decided to RESIGN... to the fact that speculation is one of the constants in life!!" Raman Tweeted.
Earlier Ganguly had posted: "2022 marks the 30th year since the start of my journey with cricket in 1992. Since then, cricket has given me a lot. Most importantly, it has given me the support of all of you. I want to thank every single person, who has been part of the journey, supported me, and helped me reach where I am today. Today, I am planning to start something that I feel will probably help a lot of people. I hope you continue your support as I enter this chapter of life.
