Veteran India batter Ajinkya Rahane was seen spending time with his family after representing Mumbai in the first leg of the Ranji Trophy 2021-22. Well, before getting busy in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Rahane decided to visit his old school.
On Wednesday, March 9, Rahane took a trip down memory lane when he visited his alma mater, SV Joshi High School in Dombivli, Mumbai, along with his wife Radhika and daughter Aarya.
He was reminiscing about his days and memories spent at the school, and even he had also visited his first ground with his family, where he played his cricket in childhood and learned the cricketing basics.

Team India’s former Test vice-captain took to his Instagram handle on Wednesday and shared a video of his visit to his alma mater, SV Joshi High School, along with his family, and said that no matter how old the place got, it would always have a special place in his heart.
The 33-year old captioned the post: “There's something about visiting your roots that keeps you grounded. Was at Dombivli with my family and irrespective of how the place changes, it holds the same place in my heart!”
Rahane added, “I wanted to come here for many years and today it happened. I started cricket from this place, the school backed me. There are several changes now to the school but coming here felt special.”
