Virender Sehwag posts 'fraud alert' on Twitter after a SEBI registered person dupes investors

Sehwag posted that a legal action will be taken if the person doesn't compensate the investors.

Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag posted a tweet on Wednesday (February 24) and shared information regarding a fraud who has duped 'innocent' retailers. Sehwag named the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) registered person, 'Pritam Dueskar' in his tweet.

Dauskar is the fund manager at Bonanza portfolio Limited and Sehwag wrote that he is not picking up calls of investors. He also warned for legal action if compensation is not made.

"FRAUD ALERT - Pritam Deuskar, who is SEBI Registered & runs an advisory Wealthy Via, as part of a syndicated network, has duped several innocent retail investors & stopped answering calls of investors. 

"If he doesn't compensate cheated investors, necessary legal action will follow," he wrote on Twitter and also attached a picture of the person.

The complete information about this case is yet to be disclosed. Sehwag also hasn't provided any update on the matter after posting the tweet.
