Former English skipper Michael Vaughan, on Wednesday (23 February), praised the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022. He talked about several aspects that he feels make the tournament better than other T20 leagues across the globe.
Pakistan Super League (PSL) was founded in 2015 with the first season being played in 2016. The league provided the platform for various young players from Pakistan to showcase their talent and have exposure by playing alongside global stars.
Initially, the league took place in UAE as many overseas players refused to play in Pakistan due to security reasons. But later it was moved to Pakistan and since then many players, pundits, and fans have praised the tournament.

PSL has given cricket-deprived fans of Pakistan everything to cheer about. In several instances, many fans and cricket experts have compared the league to the Indian Premier League (IPL) and also there have been debates regarding the same.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Michael Vaughan praised Pakistan Super League (PSL) for having high-quality players. He compared the tournament to other T20 leagues around the world, saying that its duration makes it better than other leagues.
“The Pakistan Super league has it spot on … High quality players … Fewer games than other tournaments making it a few weeks shorter … It's leaves you wanting a little bit more at the end … Other tournaments don't … #Pakistan,” Michael Vaughan Tweeted.
Coming to the ongoing PSL 2022, after months of entertainment, the tournament has reached its business end. The league saw an exciting contest between bat and ball and is only expected to give fans something more to cheer about in the playoffs stage.
