England pacer Jofra Archer on Friday (January 11) responded to a rude tweet against him by a cricket fan. Although it was an offensive tweet degrading his value as a cricketer, Jofra didn't lose his cool.

It all started after one of the Indian cricket fans compared Team India fast bowler Prasidh Krishna with Jofra. Krishna was the Player of the Match for India in the second ODI against the West Indies for picking four wickets.

Reacting to the comparison, another Twitter user asked not to compare Krishna with Jofra and went on to label the England pacer as 'fraud', 'traitor', and 'unfit' in the tweet.

"Please don't compare hard-working, honest Prasidh Krishna with that fraud, unfit, traitor, race card player Jofra archer,” the tweet read. Jofra reacted to the post and wrote, "I hope you heal."

Soon after the tweet got viral, the Twitter user had to lock their account. Fans of Jofra were upset with the words used against him.

The 26-year-old might not have recovered from his injury, but he has entered the IPL 2022 mega-auction, "with a view to potential participation" in the 2022 and 2023 seasons if he gets picked up by a franchise, as reported by Cricinfo.
