Graham Thorpe is the latest casualty following England's 4-0 Ashes defeat in Australia.
"I've been very fortunate to have worked with so many good players and coaches who I consider my friends for life," Thorpe said in a statement issued by ECB.
This comes after head coach Chris Silverwood was relieved from his duties, after England's 4-0 drubbing in the five-Test Ashes series Down Under.
Just a day before, Ashley Giles was sacked from his role of England managing director men's cricket.
Former England skipper Andrew Strauss has replaced Giles on an interim basis and will appoint a caretaker coach for the upcoming tour of West Indies in March.
"I'd like to thank Graham for his work over many years on the England coaching staff and wish him the best for the future," Strauss said about Thorpe.
Meanwhile, Joe Root has retained his post as England Test captain for the forthcoming tour of the West Indies.
"Having spoken to Joe, it is absolutely clear the extent of his commitment to taking this side forward," ESPNcricinfo quoted Strauss as saying.
"He has incredible motivation and energy to do that. He is bruised, and hugely disappointed by what went on in the Ashes but he sets a magnificent example, both on and off the field, so I will give him my full support and make sure he has right structure around him to take pressure off him and make sure he can do his job properly."
