The girl alleged that Yasir had warned her of severe consequences if she went to authorities for complaining.
In the FIR, the girl has alleged that Yasir’s friend, Farhan, kidnapped her on gunpoint, raped her, made videos of her and later gave threats.
The girl further claimed that Yasir Shah had warned her of severe consequences if she went to the authorities for complaining.
As per the complaint filed with the police, the girl says when she contacted Yasir on whatsapp pleading for his help, the cricketer laughed at her and told her to stay quiet.
The girl also stated that when she went to the police, Yasir offered to give her a flat and monthly expenses for 18 years for remaining quiet.
Yasi Shah, 35, is yet to respond on the accusations. The leg-spinner didn’t travel to Bangladesh for the recent Test series as he is nursing a finger injury.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has responded to the entire incident, saying: "We have noted that some allegations have been levelled against one of our Centrally Contracted players. The PCB is presently gathering information and will only offer a comment when in possession of the complete facts."
Yasir Shah has played 46 Tests for Pakistan, claiming 235 wickets at an average of 31.09 with 16 five-wicket hauls.
