Sourav Ganguly's statement regarding India's captaincy change was contradicted by Virat Kohli recently.
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly on Saturday (December 18) admitted he likes India Test captain Virat Kohli's attitude but not entirely. Ganguly, at an event in Gurugram, said that Kohli's attitude impresses him although he fights a lot.
According to CricTracker's report, Ganguly was asked which player’s attitude he likes the best. To which, the former India captain replied, “I like Virat Kohli’s attitude but he fights a lot.”

The 49-year-old was also asked how he deals with all the stress in life and Ganguly responded sarcastically to the question. He said, “There is no stress in life. Only wife and girlfriend give stress.”
Recently, Ganguly was under criticism after Kohli contradicted his statement regarding the captaincy of the Indian cricket team. The BCCI president had told ANI that he had personally spoken to Kohli and asked him to not step down as T20I captain.
But Kohli, in a press conference, confirmed that no one told him to reconsider quitting the T20I captaincy, and there was also no communication between him and the BCCI selection committee regarding the ODI captaincy change.
