Harbhajan Singh sells his plush Mumbai apartment for INR 17.58 crores: Report

Veteran cricketer Harbhajan Singh has sold off his plush Mumbai apartment for a reported amount of INR 17.58 crores. He was recently seen in action in IPL 2021 for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Harbhajan Singh’s luxurious apartment was located in Andheri’s Rustomjee Elements and has been bought by JBC International LLP for ₹17.58 crores, after paying a stamp duty of Rs 87.9 lakhs.

As per the documents scanned by real estate data analysis and research firm Zapkey.com, the agreement date of the deal was registered on November 18, 2021. The Mumbai property is spread across 2,830 square feet and the ace cricketer had purchased the property in December 2017 from Rustomjee.

Harbhajan Singh’s plush property was registered in March 2018.

The right-arm off-spinner last played for India in 2015 and played three matches in IPL 2021 for KKR. In 163 IPL matches, the Punjab bowler has 150 wickets with a best of 5/18 at an economy of 7.07. For India, Harbhajan picked 417 wickets in 103 Tests, 269 wickets in 236 ODIs, and 25 wickets in 28 T20I matches.

He was part of India’s 2007 T20 World Cup win and the 2011 World Cup victory.
