Sitanshu Kotak has been appointed as India A head coach for the South Africa tour.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly appointed the former Indian leg-spinner Sairaj Bahutule as the bowling coach for the India A team’s tour of South Africa later this month.
It is also being reported that Bahutule has been confirmed as the new spin bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
Notably, the 48-year-old Bahutule played in as many as 188 first-class games, taking 630 wickets at 26.00 and scoring 6176 runs at 31.83, apart from playing 2 Tests and 8 ODIs for India.
The former spinner also coached Vidarbha, Kerala, Bengal, and Gujarat. He also worked with Australia’s young spinners at Cricket Australia’s Centre of Excellence in Brisbane, as well as with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) as the spin bowling coach.

Meanwhile, Saurashtra’s Sitanshu Kotak has been named as the head coach for the South Africa tour, while Assam’s Subhadeep Ghosh will be the fielding coach for India A on the tour.
India A, captained by Priyank Panchal, will play three four-day matches against South Africa A from November 23 to December 9 in Bloemfontein.
