West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards gave an epic response to India batter Abhinav Mukund after he tweeted about being ashamed that he was watching highlights of Sir Viv's brilliant knock of 189* against England for the 1st time.

Arguably, one of the greatest batters in the history of cricket, Sir Vivian Richards ruled the game during his time. He was the most prolific run-getter for his side, with an average of more than 50 in Test cricket and 47 in ODIs.

However, the main highlight of his career was his unbeaten 189-run knock that he played against England in an ODI in 1984. Coming to bat at 11/2, Vivian Richards played one of the greatest ODI innings.

While the wickets kept tumbling at the other end, Richards held one end and kept ticking the scorecard. At one stage, West Indies were tumbling at 166/9 and the right-handed batter bailed his team out of the trouble, scoring unbeaten 189 runs in 170 balls to take his team to the total of 272.

He then scalped two wickets with the ball as West Indies bundled out England for 168 runs to seal the match by 104 runs.

Abhinav Mukund after watching the highlights of this knock for the first time showed his admiration for Sir Vivian Richards and asked fans for more suggestions.

“No cricket on and randomly watching highlights of old games on YouTube,a bit ashamed to say this is the first time i am watching the 189* of @ivivianrichards ! My god what an innings, that too from 166/9. Any other suggestions from you guys on what to watch next?” Abhinav Mukund Tweeted.

Sir Viv Richards responded to the tweet by Mukund and made a great suggestion that he should watch highlights of all his batting and bowling achievements.

“I suggest you can start watching all my batting & bowling highlights my lad,” Vivian Richards Tweeted.

Mukund then shared a list of the best knocks played by Richards that he has kept on the watchlist and thanked him for replying and making his day.
