As far as the legendary left-arm spinner is concerned, Bedi represented India from 1966 to 1979 and played in 67 Tests with 266 wickets to his name. He also captained India in 22 Test matches. Bedi also represented Northamptonshire in English county cricket for many years.
The 75-year-old was also honored with the Padma Shri Award in 1970. He finished his career with 1,560 wickets in first-class cricket which is more than any other Indian.
