New Zealand will tour Bangladesh for a 5-match T20I series after 8 years as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that Bangladesh will be hosting the Kiwis, after England's tour was rescheduled.

The New Zealand cricket team will be touring Bangladesh for the first time since 2013. The two sides clashed with each other in a three-match T20I series in New Zealand earlier this year, which the hosts comfortably won 3-0.

This came after ECB and BCB agreed to postpone England’s white-ball tour of Bangladesh (comprising 3 ODIs and as many T20Is) that was set to be played in September and October.

With the remainder of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) to be resumed from September 19 in the UAE, the availability of New Zealand players for the initial parts of the second-leg of tournament remains to be confirmed.
