He didn't get a chance to bat in the rained-out first T20I in Barbados.
Pakistan batsman Azam Khan has been ruled out of the second and third T20I against the West Indies after suffering a blow to the head during training in Guyana on Friday (July 30).
The 22-year-old sustained a head injury during a training session on Friday and he was immediately taken to the hospital, however, the youngster didn’t lose consciousness since he was wearing a helmet at the time he was hit during the practice session in Guyana.
Azam, son of the former Pakistan legend Moin Khan, had made his international debut in England earlier this month. He was picked in Pakistan’s playing XI in the first T20I against the West Indies but didn't get a chance to bat, as the fixture was called off due to rain in Barbados.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in an official statement, “A neurosurgeon has recommended an observation period of 24 hours. He will then be reassessed on Monday after which a decision on his availability for the final T20I of the four-match series will be made.”
Noteworthy, all three remaining T20Is games will take place in Guyana on July 31, August 1, and 3 respectively. They will also play a two-match Test series on August 12 and 20 in Kingston.
