India captain Virat Kohli is among the top 20 highest-earning individuals on the Instagram platform. He is the only Indian on the list which is topped by footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese footballer earns up to $1,604,000 (over ₹ 11 crore) per Instagram post, according to HopperHQ's 'Instagram Rich List' for the year 2021. Kohli is placed 19th on the list, above American singer-songwriter Demi Lovato.

According to the UK-based social media management company, Kohli charges up to $680,000 per Instagram post, which is approximately ₹5 crore each post. Last year, the India skipper was ranked 23rd on the list.
The 32-year-old has 132 million followers on Instagram and he is most followed Indian on Instagram. Kohli is also the first Indian person to breach the 100-million followers’ mark on Instagram.
After Kohli, actress Priyanka Chopra is the next Indian in the list and she is at the 27th spot. With a following of 65 million on Instagram, she gets $403,000 (around ₹ 3 crore) for every promotional post she makes on the app.
WWE wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as 'The Rock', was on the top in the list last year. But this year he has slipped to the number two spot while reportedly charging over $1,523,000 per Instagram post.
