Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has launched a probe against Niroshan Dickwella and Kusal Mendis for allegedly violating the bio-bubble during the ongoing tour of England.

A couple of videos are doing rounds on social media, which shows both the cricketers are enjoying a night out after Sri Lanka’s 3-0 whitewash in the T20I series.

While there's no harm in taking some time off from cricket after a forgetful series, the concern is about the bio-bubble breach and hence SLC has decided to investigate the matter.

Reacting to the clip, which was shared by Sri Lankan fans, SLC chief Shammi Silva said, "an investigation is underway as they have breached the (code of) conduct."

In the first T20I, Sri Lanka went down by 8 wickets as England chased down the target of 130 runs with 17 balls to spare.

The visitors received a five-wicket thrashing in the second T20I while they lost the third match by a huge margin of 89 runs.

Sri Lanka will now take on England in three ODIs, starting Tuesday (June 29) at Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street.
