Nagarkoti was a part of Team India that won the Under-19 World Cup 2018.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti, who was a part of the Indian team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2018 was one such youngster who had a positive impact of Dravid’s guidance.
“We were playing cricket together since the past 2-3 years. So we got experience from those games and we also had Dravid sir who used to guide us. So learning from that, we used to try and improve our game,” Nagarkoti told Sportskeeda.

The right-arm quick then revealed the incident when he was injured during the Indian Premier League (IPL) and went through a lengthy period of rehabilitation.
“When I was injured after the IPL, I was really disappointed. But my other coaches and Dravid sir always tried to motivate me. In NCA, whenever I used to meet Dravid sir, he used to make me understand that such situations occur in the lives of many athletes,” the 21-year-old said.
“But it's important how you motivate yourself and come out of the phase stronger. His words really fired me up and helped me improve as a bowler,” he added.
Since Team India head coach Ravi Shastri is with the senior pros in the UK while the team prepares for the World Test Championship final and England Test series, Rahul Dravid will be coaching the specialist white-ball Indian team for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour in July.
