Zimbabwe will host Bangladesh for one Test, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has decided to opt-out of the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe and even the veteran cricketer has also conveyed his wish to take a break during the upcoming tour to the national selectors.
Bangladesh is scheduled to tour Zimbabwe next month to a one-off Test from July 7-11 in Bulawayo, three-match ODI series starting on July 16.
The three-match T20I series will be the final leg of the Tigers’ tour of Zimbabwe that will begin on July 23 and for which Mushfiqur requested a break, as the wicketkeeper-batsman will be available for the one-off Test and the ODI series as well.

However, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) hasn't approved Mushfiqur's request for a break, as the board will decide once he officially informs about the leave to the cricket operations department.
As reported by ESPNcricinfo, Bangladesh chief selector Minhajul Abedin said, “Mushfiq has requested for a break during the T20Is, but he is available for the Test and ODIs.”
Abedin said, “I think he may be tired after playing for so long, which is why he wants the leave. We will decide once he officially informs the cricket operations department.”
Notably, Mushfiqur had earlier also skipped the Pakistan tour in 2020, citing his family was skeptical about his safety.
