Kuldeep Yadav wasn't included in the Test squad for the United Kingdom tour.
From not being in the playing eleven to getting dropped from the squad, the last few months have been tough for wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Kuldeep wasn't picked in the Indian squad for the United Kingdom (UK) tour which includes the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final and a five-match Test series against England.
The left-arm unorthodox spinner was part of the Test series against England at home but he was struggling to get into the playing eleven since the Australia tour. Finally, the team selectors decided to leave him out before the next big tour after being given an opportunity in Chennai Test at home earlier this year.

During an interview with India News, Kuldeep, who has played 7 Test matches for India, said he's disappointed to miss out on the UK tour and he wanted to be one of the contributors in Team India's victory.
"I am disappointed not to be part of the Indian team because I wanted to go and perform and contribute to the team's win. These things happen, yes you are sad, but at the same time you are ready to perform in the next opportunity," he said.
Kuldeep is now eyeing the Sri Lanka tour where Team India will play three ODIs and T20Is each in July, while India's core players will be in the UK which gives opportunity to the discarded cricketers and new faces.
"I didn't go there, so hopefully I will go to Sri Lanka and get the chance to perform there. Cricket should continue happening, every player is sad when he is not in the team, everyone wants to remain in the team but sometimes the situation is such that you are not part of the team," he added.
