S Badrinath tests COVID-19 positive; third after Sachin Tendulkar and Yusuf Pathan from RSWS 2021

Badrinath recently played for India Legends in Road Safety World Series 2021.

Former India batsman S Badrinath announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19. He is the third player after Sachin Tendulkar and Yusuf Pathan to contract the virus in the last couple of days.

The interesting thing is all three had been part of the India Legends team which participated and won the Road Safety World Series 2021 tournament which featured retired cricketers from India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, England, Bangladesh, and West Indies.

The entire tournament was played in a bio-secure bubble in Raipur’s Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium.

S Badrinath announced this on Twitter and mentioned he has taken all necessary precautions and self-isolating in his house while having mild symptoms.
