Speaking to AAP, Andrew Childs, founder of the beer manufacturing company, said that 100 cases of their new IPA are on the way to Australia this fortnight to celebrate New Zealand’s recent 3-2 T20I series win over the Trans-Tasman rival.
"We wanted to have it out in time to send to the Aussie lads in quarantine while they were here," Mr Childs quoted.
"We didn't quite have it ready in time.
"So now it's a nice way to celebrate the series win for New Zealand. They don't happen that often."
The new beer also has sandpaper printed on the can, referring to Australia's 2018 ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.
Coming to the name ‘There's No Crying In Cricket’, it is in reference to Smith, David Warner and ex-coach Darren Lehmann breaking down in press conferences in the aftermath of the scandal.
Australian cricket was shaken to the core after cameras had caught Cameron Bancroft using sandpaper to alter the condition of the ball during the 2018 Cape Town Test. Subsequently, then captain Smith and his deputy Warner were given 12-month bans while Bancroft was handed a nine-month suspension under Cricket Australia's Code of Conduct.
On the other hand, Lehmann had stepped down from the position of head coach.
