Klusener reckons Kohli's job of playing quality bowlers and anchoring the innings is tough.
Former South African all-rounder Lance Klusener has praised Indian skipper Virat Kohli for doing the tough job of anchoring an innings and his predecessor MS Dhoni for dominating the bowlers right from the word go.
Klusener sees himself in the way MS Dhoni plays with an aggressive mindset against the bowlers and looks to attack them right from the start of his innings. He also applauded the way Dhoni and Kohli win games for their sides with ease.
Lance Klusener told Malayala Manorama, "They (Dhoni and Kohli) are true legends of the game. I love watching them winning matches for their sides with ease. Dhoni perfected the art of taking the games deep and finishing it off in the company of tail-enders."

"When I look at him, I see myself! Like me, Dhoni is an aggressive batsman who looks to dominate the bowlers right from the word go and accelerate the scoring rate," he added.
The 49-year-old respects the way top-order batsmen like Kohli have to face the quality bowlers and keep anchoring through the innings. He believes that the role of lower middle-order batsmen like himself was a lot easier.
"Players like Kohli play an anchor role by batting through most part of the innings. Compared to Kohli, our job was easier. Batting at the top-order and stitching the innings together by playing against quality bowling is tough. That's why I think Kohli belongs to a different class," Klusener concluded.
