Australian skipper Aaron Finch while talking about the loss in the series decider (fifth T20I) against New Zealand said that that his side wasn’t aggressive with the bat.

While reflecting on the loss, Australian skipper Aaron Finch said that the Aussies fell behind in the first innings total.
Finch regretted letting the New Zealand bowlers 'dictate terms' and added that had one of the batsmen played to his potential, the team would have been able to put up a competitive total.
“We probably weren’t aggressive enough with the bat. We let them dictate terms and didn’t get enough runs. Probably was the difference in the game. If one of us kicked on, could have got to 160-170. I thought the pitch played quite well today. It was slightly better today than the other day I thought,” Aaron Finch said after the game.
Finch while talking about the comeback after two losses credited New Zealand for the series victory.
“We have been talking about the gradual improvement from game 1 to game 4, and that was exciting. Would have been great to win the series but NZ are a great team. We just weren’t good enough today,” he said.
Martin Guptill was awarded Man of the <atch for his brutal 71-run knock while leg-spinner Ish Sodhi was adjudged as the Player for the Series.
