Member of Parliament and former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir has reacted firmly against the cricketing ties with Pakistan. He said cricket is not a big deal when it comes to risking the lives of Indian soldiers because of terrorism from the neighboring country.

Gambhir doesn't think there should be any relation with Pakistan till cross-border terrorism gets over. "Till the time cross border terrorism does not get over, I don't think there should be any kind of relationship with Pakistan because the life of our soldiers is more important than anything," Gambhir told ANI.

India and Pakistan last played a bilateral series back in 2012-13 and Gambhir was part of it.

"Cricket is a very small thing and the life of our soldiers is more important. So, till the time cross-border terrorism does not get over, there should not be any relationship with Pakistan", he said when asked about cricket with Pakistan.

On Thursday (February 25), India won the third Test against England by 10 wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

There has been a lot of talk about the pitch as the match ended in just two days. Gambhir shared his opinion and said, "It is a matter for ICC to look into. I do not want to comment on that. I think England batsmen should look at their techniques."
