Kieron Pollard's fake death news in a car accident goes viral on YouTube

Pollard was playing a cricket match when his supposed death news went all over social media.

It takes no time to spread fake news and hoax on the internet. Social media users forward fake reports without verifying them which can cause issues sometimes.

We have often heard about the death rumors of a celebrity and West Indies cricketer Kieron Pollard is the latest victim of it. Crossing all limits, a section of YouTube posted fake news on his death and the rumors started spreading like a wildfire.

The videos claimed that Pollard has died in a car accident. It all turned out to be invalid as the cricketer was active in a cricket match going on in Abu Dhabi. Pollard was playing the T10 league and he's the captain of the team Deccan Gladiators.

The unverified videos confused the fans and some were also in shock being unaware that the reports are fake. There were not one, but several YouTube videos claiming the death of the Caribbean cricketer.

Talking about the match Pollard was active in during the hoax, he scored only 2 runs off six deliveries before getting out to Munis Ansari, in a clash against Pune Devils.

The pollard-led side lost the match by 7 wickets after the Devils chased down 105 in 9.2 overs.
