Raina spoke about Tendulkar's influence and mentroship during their time in Team India.
Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has revealed the reason behind getting inked in 2014. He has a tattoo that reads 'Believe' on his right bicep.
Suresh Raina had a few batting problems before India's Tour of England in 2014 which he wanted to sort out. The batting legend Sachin Tendulkar retired from the game in 2013 but Raina still was in contact with the Mumbaikar. He asked the legend for help and the Master Blaster agreed.
Raina traveled to Mumbai to have a few practice sessions with the legend. He stayed near Tendulkar's residence for a couple of weeks and trained under his watchful eyes. It was during one of these sessions that Tendulkar advised the left-hander to believe in himself to do miracles. That went straight to his heart and he got himself inked the same evening.
Here is the tattoo on Raina's right bicep:

The 34-year-old revealed about the maestro's words when talking on ESPNCricInfo's magazine Cricket Monthly. He said, "One day during practice he told me, "You have to believe in yourself, you have to believe you can do miracles." It charged me up so much, the same evening I got a tattoo on my biceps saying 'Believe'."
Raina shared a very special moment of Tendulkar's career as he was present at the non-striker's end when the legend got to his 100th international century.
