Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh celebrates his 39th birthday today (December 12). Yuvraj is widely regarded as one of the greatest white-ball batsmen of all time.

The southpaw represented India in 304 ODIs, scoring 8701 at an average of 36.56 with 14 centuries and 52 fifties. He was also the Player-of-the-Tournament in India’s 2011 World Cup triumph.

Yuvraj played 58 T20Is for India, amassed 1177 runs and played a key role in India’s 2007 T20 World Cup title win.

Despite not getting consistent chances, Yuvraj Singh featured in 40 Tests and scored 1900 runs at 33.93 with 3 tons and 11 half-centuries.

Yuvraj Singh bid adieu to international cricket in June last year. After his retirement, he went on to play T20 franchise cricket in different countries.

As the revered cricketer enters in the 40th season of his life, wishes poured in for him from the Indian cricket fraternity.
