Hardik Pandya hasn't met his son Agastya since he was 15 days old.
India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is missing his son Agastya after staying away from him for months. Pandya hasn't seen him since the baby was 15 days old as he had to join Mumbai Indians for IPL 2020 in UAE.
Hardik is currently on an Australia tour and he admitted that fatherhood has changed him a lot. The new phase in his life has brought a better perspective towards the family.
"When you have a child then automatically you have more work, you think about life in a different way and I think my perspective towards my family has changed, as a person I have changed, and I think the change has come for the better," Pandya said at the post-match press conference after first ODI.
Hardik scored 90 in the clash against Australia on Friday as India lost the match by 66 runs, chasing 375. After IPL, he joined the squad for the Australia tour and couldn't meet his son.
"I am missing my child. When I left, the child was 15 days and now the child will be of four months," Pandya said.
"(I am waiting for) when I will return. Yes, a lot of things have changed but for the better and this is the best time in my life."
