Nepal’s young leg-spin sensation Sandeep Lamichhane is all set to have a new Big Bash home this season as he signed up with the Hobart Hurricanes for the upcoming 10th edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2020-21 starting on the 10th of December.

While strengthening its spin department, Hobart Hurricanes also completed their squad for the upcoming BBL 10 by signing Lamichhane on Thursday (November 19).

The 20-year-old, who has taken 117 wickets in 88 Twenty20 matches, has been among the favorites of the Australian cricket fans ever since he made BBL debut for Melbourne Stars two years ago. In his previous two BBL stints with Stars, Sandeep took 26 wickets at an average of 19.80 in 20 matches.

Lamichhane will join the Hurricanes' squad in January and will be available for the rest of the 2020-21 season for the club in the upcoming tournament. Following the latest development, the young spinner was excited to return to the BBL for another season and wearing purple.
