Virender Sehwag is among the most active ex-cricketers on social media.
Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag is very active on social media. His Twitter account is famous for witty one-liners and banterous tweets during the cricketing season.
Sehwag has also come up with a show named 'Viru Ki Baithak' this IPL 2020 season. On Facebook, he shares his views on the IPL matches in his style and it seems like former India captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is impressed with him.
When Sehwag shared his picture on Instagram to invite fans to watch his video, Ganguly dropped a comment on his post. He called him a superstar and wrote, "My new superstar on social media, Virender Sehwag".

Recently, Ganguly had slammed the critics for questioning him on 'conflict of interest'. He received criticism after Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Shreyas Iyer said he learned to take responsibility from his current IPL coach Ricky Ponting and Ganguly. His comment was blown out of proportion as Ganguly is currently serving as BCCI President.
But Ganguly, in his defense, said being board President doesn't change the fact that he has played 424 matches for India and he can speak to a young player and help him out.
