Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar and Caribbean Premier League (CPL) franchise Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) co-owner has lauded his team for their wonderful performance in the ongoing CPL 2020 while saying he is missing the dancing and singing in the stands this season.

This season, all the games have been held behind the closed doors due to the Coronavirus outbreak and Indian megastar is missing being on the stadium to cheer for his stars in the ongoing CPL 2020, but was happy to see the cheerleaders doing their best of stellar skills on the field.
The TKR led by Kieron Pollard is unbeaten in the CPL 2020 so far having registered their fifth consecutive win by beating Guyana Amazon Warriors by seven wickets on Friday (August 28).
Watching his team’s dream run in the tournament, Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to express his happiness at the team’s wonderful performance in the CPL so far.
He congratulated and lauded the entire TKR team and their coach Brendon McCullum with a special mention for Tim Seifert who scored (39 not out off 30 balls) the winning runs for his side and Khary Pierre (3/18) to win the Friday’s game against Guyana Amazon Warriors.
The global icon tweeted: “Was wonderful to see the boys do so well....again. @Bazmccullum looking good. Miss the dancing and singing in the stands but the cheerleader ladies still doing their bit is sweet. Well done team @TKRiders good one Seifert.”
Shah Rukh wrote in another post: “Keep going strong @TKRiders and K Pierre more power to you.”
Noteworthy, the CPL 2020 is being played across two venues in Trinidad and Tobago in a bio-secure environment amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
